For me it has never been about the hand puppet , but about what I want to teach and pass on to children. That’s my main reason for using a puppet . What I want to pass on requires not only a puppet that comes to life, but also a puppet that actively provides direction, who comes with examples, sometimes literally takes children by the hand and is itself part of a (learning) process. . The puppet is controlled by me, but operates from a different role and has different motives. The puppet is not second to me, but it does know what I know and is focused in everything on increasing the resilience, independence and self-confidence of children.
